„Betriebliche Praxisfelder erschließen“ - Ein Informationsportal unterstützt forschendes Lernen in Praxisstudien

Abstract

Der Beitrag stellt das Konzept und den Entwicklungsstand des elektronischen Info-Portals „Betriebliche Praxisfelder erschließen“ vor, das im Rahmen des Forschungsvorhabens „Forschendes Lernen in der Lehrerbildung - Professionalisierung durch Stärkung des Berufsfeldbezuges “, im Programm des Stifterverbandes für die Deutsche Wissenschaft „Neue Wege in der Lehrerausbildung“ gefördert wurde.

Das Projekt widmet sich der insbesondere für die Ausbildung von Lehrkräften für die berufsbildenden Schulen zentralen Aufgabe der methodischen Unterstützung der außerschulischen Praxiserschließung. Angehende Berufspädagogen sollen vor Antritt ihrer Lehrtätigkeit systematisch Einblick in die betrieblichen Arbeitsprozesse, sowie in das außerschulische Arbeitsumfeld ihres jeweiligen Studienschwerpunkts bzw. Berufsfeldes erhalten.

Das Portal ist seit Herbst 2006 online und wird für studentische Projekte im Praxissemester eingesetzt und im Rahmen weiterer Lehrveranstaltungen erprobt und evaluiert. Das Portal ist erreichbar unter http://www.fh-muenster.de/ibl/projekte/informationsportal/

An information portal to support learning about work processes in companies

This contribution introduces the concept and current level of development of the electronic information portal entitled: ‘Opening up fields of practice in work contexts', which was supported by funding from the programme of the Stifterverband (a foundation supporting research in Germany) entitled ‘New directions in initial teacher training', in the context of the research project called ‘Learning through research in teacher training – professionalisation through strengthening links to the field of work'.

The project is dedicated to the central task of the methodological support of developing understanding of working practices outside the school, which is of particular relevance to the training of teachers for vocational schools. Trainee vocational school teachers should, before they begin teaching, gain a systematic insight into the work processes in companies, as well as the world of work outside the school context, in their respective main subject areas or occupational field.

The portal has been online since autumn 2006 and is being piloted and evaluated in student projects in the semester of practical experience, as well as in the context of further seminars and lectures. The portal can be accessed at: http://www.fh-muenster.de/ibl/projekte/
